CTT-1

TT-1 arrived in England December 19th (just in time for Christmas!). Here is what Luke had to say:

It arrived this afternoon...I am very very impressed.

It sounds wonderful, and I don't know whether it is the chambering, the wood, the pickups or the craftsmanship but it really does seem to have something extra over every other Tele, guitar even, I've ever played. So punchy, but also very open. I couldn't be happier, and I seriously doubt I could ever find a better sounding guitar, let alone Tele. With my two Shamrays I have ended up with the "Strattiest" Strat in the world and a fantastic sounding Tele, all for roughly the same, if not less, than a Custom Shop Fender- a guitar that in my experience doesn't even come close to either of my Shamrays.

The neck is great, exactly what I asked for, and it fits me perfectly- one of the advantages of a custom order I guess. And it looks phenomenal. The pictures looked very good, but they just didn't do it justice. Amazing. I shall probably take a picture or two of it "at home" some time tomorrow, in the light, if not then next week as I shall be away until Christmas Eve.

As you can probably tell, I'm pretty pleased. It passed all my gigging tests- high volume, tuning, comfort etc with flying colours. Oh, and it was set up perfectly.

Thank you for your unfailing help regarding every aspect of my order, I doubt you'd find better customer service. Now the guitar is here, frankly I couldn't care how long it took to get here- it was worth it, and more. Shamray really do make the best guitars in the world!
